Dr Conners is an environmental scientist with broad expertise in issues relating to water resources, environmental contamination, and public health. During her Postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Georgia, she investigated the effects of fungicides on headwater streams, and evaluated how pharmaceuticals can perturb the growth and development of tadpoles. Dr Conners is an experienced science writer and editor who regularly edits science articles in the fields of biology, ecology, and earth science, among others.
Dr Conners has authored over a dozen peer-reviewed papers in journals including Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, Aquatic Toxicology, and Marine Environmental Research. She has also written many science articles aimed at general audiences.
Editing and Reviewing Experience
Dr Conners has edited over 1500 ESL articles for scientists from around the world. She joined Edanz Group as an editor in 2020.
